It's been a while since I've done a full length standalone mix CD and I was robbed of a set in LA recently when a club shut down at 2am rather than the scheduled 4am so I decided to put this one together for my friends who came out to watch and never got to hear what I was planning on throwing down. This mix focuses on a lot of remixes of popular (and unpopular yet still great nonetheless) songs with a lot of my own vocal/sample/acapella edits for flavor and some vocal housey-feeling tunes to finish it off.
You will probably recognize a lot of the songs in the first half of this mix but I promise they are versions you haven't heard of before. There is one track from a previous mix I've done that fits nicely in here so that one is an exception. It starts off pretty heavy with some bangin electro tracks and that dirty bassline feel I simply can't get enough of. The last couple songs round it off a bit taking it to a bit more of a progressive feel but still rockers of course =P
I worked hard on this one and tried to make sure that every song is a version you won't hear anywhere else but from me so listen and enjoy! Hit me up if you want a finished CD version with split tracks and all the goods as usual. Comments appreciated!
