A Tribute To Cosmic Gate

How Sweet It Is coming up tomorrow in San Bernardino with Cosmic Gate from Germany headlining. I was so excited to see my favorite trance artists (for the 2nd time!! I fucking love you Insomniac Events) that I had to dedicate a whole mix to them. This mix is an hour long and features songs by or remixed by Cosmic Gate or Nic Chagall (one of the two members of Cosmic Gate).

This is an interesting one because if you haven't heard the full chronological span of Cosmic Gate (about 2000-2009) you will hear a whole other side of them in this mix... hard trance! Back before 2004, they put a little more "untz untz" in their tracks, after this mix is about half-way through with you, you'll understand. But for those that follow their newer stuff, I've thrown in a remix I personally put together of their latest single "Not Enough Time" and plenty of other progressive stuff to start and end.

This is the first mix I've done entirely in Ableton Live rather than on turntables so I was able to add a lot more flavor and touch-ups to the tracks. This is trance though so subtlety is the key, if you can't notice how I've changed the songs then I've edited them well :P
